“Henry’s Ebb” was previously selected for the Frontières Buyers Showcase at the Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival.

The film will have its U.S. premiere at Cucalorus Film Festival in North Carolina, where the production was filmed and set.

In a statement, Mendolia spoke about Elkin, North Carolina, the town in which he grew up and where he shot the film: “Elkin exists in my mind as both magical and painful, and that duality felt essential to the story. I wrote it around real locations from my memory, and knew that shooting here was crucial. Henry moves through a world that is full of wonder, but also shaped by the complicated lives of the adults around him. Setting the film there allowed those two feelings to coexist in the same space.”

Bridge Independent has boarded psychological horror film “Henry’s Ebb,” which stars Kingston Rumi Southwick, one of the stars…

[27
311369,311370,156,311371,409,111,139,69,92271
post-635189","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-movies","tag-black-nights-film-festival","tag-bridge-independent","tag-entertainment","tag-kingston-rumi-southwick","tag-movies","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-tallinn-black-nights-film-festival
["GET
