With the right apps and a few tweaks, I’ve turned my car’s infotainment system into an entertainment hub that keeps my family occupied, makes road trips feel shorter, and makes long journeys a little more enjoyable.<\/p>\n

Kids can get bored or restless, too, especially when there’s still a long way to go. When we’ve racked our brains for something new to discuss, I turn to Gemini to help keep the conversation going.<\/p>\n

When my niece is traveling with us, I like finding ways to keep her entertained beyond music.<\/p>\n

With Gemini Live, I can start a natural, back-and-forth conversation by saying, “Hey Google, let’s talk live,” and ask it to share fun facts about our destination, explain landmarks we’re passing, or come up with trivia questions to keep everyone engaged.<\/p>\n

Having a few simple games ready is perfect for those stretches when we’re parked and waiting. If my niece is traveling with us, a quick game can be a welcome change from listening to music. The catch is that you must park the car before playing.<\/p>\n
