Born in Liverpool, Caroline Hirons, 57, moved to London at 17. In\u00a01997, she joined the Aveda counter in Harvey Nichols and went on to train as an aesthetician. In\u00a02022, she launched the Skin Rocks app and skincare line. Her new book is\u00a0Skin\u00a0Rules: Expert Advice That You Can Trust<\/a>. She is separated with four children, and lives\u00a0in London.<\/p>\n

My trio of wedding rings I wear every day \u2013 my mum\u2019s, my grandmother\u2019s, mine. I\u2019m separated, but still have the\u00a0ring because it gave me my kids.<\/p>\n

What is your most unappealing habit?

Interrupting people. I have ADHD and\u00a0I sometimes have to physically bite my tongue and cover my mouth because my instinct is to join in.<\/p>\n

What did you want to be when you\u00a0were growing up?

A midwife. And then I had a baby and\u00a0thought, sod that.<\/p>\n
