Asuptegravir is metabolized by UGT1A1 and is being evaluated alongside emtricitabine and tenofovir alafenamide. Immunologic nonresponders, defined as people with CD4+ T-cell counts persistently below 350 cells\/mm3 despite at least 2 years of viral suppression, face higher risks of AIDS progression, non-AIDS events, and death.<\/p>\n
