eBay \u2013 remember them? \u2013 is still pushing on deep into the 2020s, and ahead of this year\u2019s SEMA show in Las Vegas, it has unveiled four cars that\u2019ll head to auction for charity.<\/p>\n

Dubbed the eBay Most Wanted Collection, the name of the foursome of cars gives off vibes of the famous \u2018Need for Speed\u2019 video games, and the vehicles have been modified with inspiration from \u201cgaming culture’s most recognisable rides\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, there\u2019s no official connection to the \u2018Need for Speed\u2019 series, nor are the cars directly representative of any particular vehicles in video games.<\/p>\n

\"AeBay’s Most Wanted Collection<\/p>\n

Instead, the auction of the four is being used as a way of eBay promoting the parts and accessories available on its marketplace, with the quartet modified using its platform as their source.<\/p>\n

The four cars include a 2006 Dodge Viper\u2028(The Street Icon<\/a>), a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette C8\u2028Stingray (The South Beach Supercar<\/a>), a 1992 E30 BMW 325i Convertible\u2028(The Classic Getaway<\/a>), and a 1975 Chevrolet Nova (The Hot Pink Hi-riser<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Details in each of the vehicles\u2019 listings shows three of them are far from perfect, with the E30 claimed to need attention for its underbody surface rust, the Nova has a non-functioning parking brake and corrosion, and the Viper\u2019s V10 has a minor oil leak.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bidding for all four cars will begin from US$6 each on November 5, with the auction set to be hosted by Sung Kang (\u2018Han\u2019 from Fast and Furious, and starring in his new film \u2018Drifter\u2019) and Hertrech \u201cHert\u201d Eugene Jr (whose \u2018Twerkstallion\u2019 was written off at this year\u2019s World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney).<\/p>\n

All proceeds of the auctions will benefit Susan G. Komen, a US breast cancer foundation.<\/p>\n
