Queenstown\u2019s The World Bar\u2019s turning this Sunday, November 1, into a big campaign for Movember \u2014\u00a0raising funds and awareness for men\u2019s health, including mental health.<\/p>\n
From 1pm\u00a0it\u2019ll have a barber station where mo\u2019s will be shaved so punters\u00a0can grow them through\u00a0Movember.<\/p>\n
There\u2019ll also be a flash tattoo station, live music \u2014\u00a0from Nic Shea, then Danny Atkinson \u2014\u00a0then\u00a0DJ Ribera from 9pm, and also auctions throughout the day, thanks to prizes donated by 13 local businesses.<\/p>\n
Venue manager Billy Mead will bravely have his head shaved for the cause \u2014\u00a0he might grow a mohawk, instead \u2014\u00a0while Wolf Hospitality Group training manager Toby Freeman\u2019s asking punters to nominate what sort of mo he should grow throughout the month.<\/p>\n
A promo for Sunday’s \u2018Movember Mo\u2019s & Mates\u2019 states: \u201cMen\u2019s health and mental health is something that deserves more conversation, more support and more action.<\/p>\n
