The actor has a strict 10 pm rule: once she is in bed, she does not want to continue conversations. Her husband, Saif Ali Khan, revealed that it took him a couple of years to understand this habit.The couple made a joint appearance on Koffee With Karan<\/a> Season 9, where host Karan Johar asked Saif whether Kareena was as entertaining at home as she was on the show. Saif said he had not initially realised that Kareena preferred silence once they went to bed after 10 pm. \u201cI will tell you something about her. I didn’t realise, and she never told me that she doesn’t talk after 10 pm, once we’re in bed. I didn’t know,\u201d he said.Kareena immediately explained her reason: \u201cThat’s my downtime.\u201d Saif said he initially found her sudden silence confusing and wondered whether he had done something to upset her. \u201cIt took me a couple of years to figure out. I was like, \u2018Why is she not saying anything? Is something wrong?\u2019 Suddenly, she would go \u2018hmm\u2019. Go very quiet. I’m like, \u2018Did I do something? Why is she quiet?\u2019 And it took me a long time to realise all by myself that she doesn’t wanna talk,\u201d he recalled.Kareena then made it clear that her silence was limited to the evenings. \u201cOnly in the morning am I entertaining,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
