That question gets a lot of attention, including from people who run big AI labs, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/opinion\/articles\/2024-09-03\/triple-etfs-triple-your-fun?srnd=undefined&amp;sref=1kJVNqnU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"media-ui-Link_link-tVkXhPLPofs-\" data-component=\"link\">do not always answer \u201cno,\u201d<\/a> the rascals. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ArticleBodyText_articleBodyContent__17wqE typography_articleBody__3UcBa\" data-component=\"paragraph\">Another question you might ask is: If modern AI models do go rogue and enslave or wipe out humanity, who will pay for that? This is perhaps not quite a well-formed question. If AI wipes out humanity, there will be no humans left to sue, so nobody will pay for that.
