Despite the already long list of returning MCU stars in Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>, don\u2019t expect Andrew Garfield<\/a> to swing by for a cameo.<\/p>\n

Although Marvel stars are usually sworn to secrecy about their involvement in a project, the 2x Oscar nominee left no confusion about whether or not he and Tobey Maguire<\/a> would be back as Spider-Man<\/a> in the upcoming superhero team-up, premiering Dec. 18, 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, unequivocally fucking no,\u201d said Garfield<\/a> while answering fan questions in a video for GQ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following his tenure as Peter Parker in Sony<\/a>\u2019s The Amazing Spider-Man<\/a> (2012) and its 2014 sequel, Garfield joined predecessor Maguire<\/a> in reprising their shared role alongside Tom Holland<\/a> in Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/a> (2021).<\/p>\n

Garfield had to outright deny his involvement in the movie back then for the sake of avoiding spoilers, but since its release, he\u2019s said he \u201cwould 100% come back\u201d for another round as Peter Parker.
