She will report to Prentiss Fraser, President of Fox Entertainment Global.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cWe are thrilled to welcome Valerie at such a pivotal moment for our global business,\u201d Fraser said in a statement Thursday. \u201cHer expertise in content strategy and acquisitions will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our catalog and deliver exceptional programming to partners worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tPrior to Fox, Meraz built a seasoned career as a media executive across premium pay cable, basic cable and digital-first platforms. She previously held leadership roles as WarnerMedia, Showtime and Turner Networks. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tMeraz, whose new title is SVP Content &amp; Acquisitions, is the latest hire to the team at Fox Entertainment Global, the international distribution arm of the U.S. broadcaster.
