Rewa have claimed the 2025 FMF Inter-District Championship title after defeating Ba in front of their home crowd at 4R Stadium, Govind Park this afternoon.<\/p>\n
Despite being reduced to ten men after Kavaia Rawaqa was shown a red card in the second half, Rewa held their nerve as Patrick Joseph converted a crucial penalty to put the Delta Tigers ahead.<\/p>\n
Moments later, captain Tevita Waranaivalu was stretchered off the field following a tackle from Ba\u2019s Praneel Naidu, who was also sent off with a red card.<\/p>\n
He was replaced by Josaia Sela.<\/p>\n
It was a fiery, emotional final that ended with Rewa lifting the prestigious IDC trophy after 15 years, breaking Ba hearts on their home turf.<\/p>\n
An emotional Rewa Assistant Coach Priyant Manu says it was a tough match but they managed to pull through.<\/p>\n
