Our favourite political thriller is back and we\u2019re in for a tense and turbulent ride! For those who aren\u2019t familiar, the series follows US ambassador to the UK, Kate Wyler (Keri Russell), as she juggles her high-powered job through international unrest with her tumultuous marriage to a fellow politician. Netflix has promised that the new instalment \u201cflips the chessboard\u201d as \u201cKate lives the particular nightmare that is getting what you want.\u201d Series 3 is arriving on Netflix<\/a> on Thursday 16thOctober. <\/p>\n

Creator Neil Cross (the genius behind Luther) has called this series “unapologetically exciting” \u2013 and we can confirm it\u2019s truly brilliant. The Italy-set thriller stars Niamh Algar as Iris, who cracks a string of complex online puzzles, which lead her to Florence where she meets entrepreneur Cameron Beck (Tom Hollander). He invites her to work for him to unlock a top-secret piece of technology, but when Iris discovers its rather terrifying potential, she steals a vital piece of information – and vanishes. Channel 4\u2019s hit \u201cfake\u201d fugitive drama is back! Don\u2019t know the rules of the game? Well, the series sees 12 ordinary people from across the UK turn fugitive. If they can successfully outwit an elite team of hunters (think serving and former police officers, as well as cyber experts) for 21 days and evade detection, they’ll win a share of \u00a3100,000. Like all brilliant reality shows, it’s also spawned a celebrity version – and it’s worth catching up on the most recent series<\/a>, too. Arriving on Channel 4<\/a> at 9pm on Sunday 12th October. <\/p>\n

One for true crime fans, Disney+\u2019s Murdaugh: Death in the Family is based on a real South Carolina scandal that\u2019s been dubbed the \u201ctrial of the century\u201d. It follows the story \u2013 and ultimate collapse \u2013 of the Murdaugh family, who were wealthy and powerful members of South Carolina\u2019s elite. Family heads Maggie and Alex enjoy a lavish life of privilege, but when their son Paul is involved in a deadly boat crash, the family is faced with a test like no other. And as details come to light, the family’s connections to several mysterious deaths raise some very serious questions. Arriving on Disney+<\/a>on Tuesday 15th October.<\/p>\n

Only Felis is tasked with uncovering whether she is, in fact, a dangerous crime lord cloaked in normality \u2013 and one wrong step could cost them both everything. Firebite\"rob<\/p>\n

This one\u2019s a bit different, but it\u2019s good to shake things up every now and again – and Firebite certainly does that. Set in a remote desert mining town, the series imagines the last vampire stronghold hiding beneath the Australian outback. Shipped from Britain to Australia in 1788 to eradicate Indigenous populations, they\u2019ve been lurking in the mines and tunnels ever since \u2013 and both their hunger and numbers are growing. Only war is on its way\u2026 Arriving on ITVX<\/a> on Wednesday 16th October. <\/p>\n
