Lauren Conrad<\/a>\u00a0and Kristin Cavallari\u00a0were embroiled in one of the most famous feuds of the 2000s, but now, decades on, the former Laguna Beach costars have officially put the drama behind them.<\/p>\n

The two women reunited on Saturday after years of speculation that they were at odds, sending fans of the beloved MTV reality series into a frenzy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cavallari, 38, took to Instagram to share a snap alongside Conrad, 39, and even poked fun at the rumored divide in the caption, writing, ‘Everyone can put away their team Lauren and team Kristin shirts now.’<\/p>\n

The ladies stood with their arms around each other as they both smiled ear to ear towards the camera.<\/p>\n

Conrad donned a chic white, button-down tank top and matching trousers while Cavallari opted for a black mini skirt and crop top, which she paired with a dark jacket.<\/p>\n

Immediately, fans took to the comment section to share their excitement over the reunion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘The millennial generation is fully healed,’ wrote one user, while another chimed in, ‘This healed something inside of me that I didn\u2019t even remember was broken.’<\/p>\n

‘Now this is what deserves the Nobel Peace Prize,’ joked someone else.<\/p>\n

The two women starred in\u00a0Laguna Beach together in 2004, which saw them become entangled in a messy love triangle with costar\u00a0Stephen Colletti.<\/p>\n

The drama engrossed millions of viewers who soon began to pick sides between ‘team Conrad’ and ‘team Cavallari.’<\/p>\n

The show went on for three seasons before concluding in 2006; Conrad famously went on to star in the spin-off\u00a0The Hills but was replaced by Cavallari during the fifth season.<\/p>\n

In the years afterwards, the ladies spoke about the status of their friendship, or lack thereof, on numerous occasions, which only heightened rumors of a rivalry.<\/p>\n

Months later, Cavallari (seen recently) alleged that a lot of the drama on the show had been ‘faked’ for views.\u00a0But when asked if her ‘distaste’ for Conrad was fake, she boldly stated, ‘No’<\/p>\n

‘We are not going to lunch together and I don\u2019t have her phone number, but we are cool,’ Cavallari said in 2010.<\/p>\n

‘I don\u2019t talk to Kristin anymore,’ Conrad said to Us Weekly in 2012.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on\u00a0Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen months later, Cavallari alleged that a lot of the drama on the show had been ‘faked’ for views.<\/p>\n

But when asked if her ‘distaste’ for Conrad was fake, she boldly stated, ‘No.’<\/p>\n

‘I feel like [producers] put things in our heads. I mean, we were 17 and 18. They made it a lot worse than it was,’ she added.<\/p>\n

When asked about the feud by Entertainment Tonight<\/a> in 2020, Cavallari hinted that she and Conrad had put it behind them.<\/p>\n

‘So much time has passed and what we went through was so silly and it was so high school that I’m pretty sure we’re both over it at this point,’ she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In November 2022, the former costars sat down together for a rare joint interview on the\u00a0Asking for a Friend podcast, and they addressed the drama once and for all.<\/p>\n

‘We had an issue with each other, but it had been squashed [by the time filming started],’ Conrad explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I think what happened is [producers] kind of saw this as, like, a starting point. And then they ran with it. I mean, I don\u2019t think we were, like, best friends. But we were like, “It\u2019s fine.”‘<\/p>\n

‘My take on it is, you and I never really had any beef. Really. I mean, obviously there was a little truth to what happened with the three of us,’ Cavallari added.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
