Federline went on to express his concern that the Free Britney movement \u2013 which campaigned to have his ex-wife\u2019s conservatorship terminated \u2013 may have \u201cstarted from a good place\u201d but has now left professionals who could help her afraid to step in.<\/p>\n
He wrote: \u201cAll those people who put so much effort into that should now put the same energy into the \u2018Save Britney\u2019 movement. Because this is no longer about freedom. It\u2019s about survival.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Federline doesn\u2019t know the perfect \u201csolution\u201d, he appealed for anyone \u201cwho has ever been moved by Britney\u201d to stand by his children and their mother.<\/p>\n
He wrote: \u201cNow, more than ever, they need your support. I\u2019ve been their buffer for years, but now it\u2019s bigger than me. It\u2019s time to sound the alarm.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 47-year-old dancer is keen for his sons to have an \u201cincredible relationship\u201d with their sons.<\/p>\n
He told the New York Times: \u201cI\u2019ve never, ever, once, been against Britney.\u201d I\u2019ve only tried to help my sons have an incredible relationship with their mother. And it\u2019s hard because when I really reflect on everything that\u2019s happened \u2013 my kids do not know the woman that I married. And I\u2019ve spent two decades trying to bridge that gap.\u201d<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Spears has hit out at Federline for \u201cprofiting off\u201d the star with his book. The representative told People magazine: \u201cWith news from Kevin\u2019s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin.\u201d All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James and their wellbeing during this sensationalism.
