Elle Macpherson<\/a> has made a wild new claim about her hair.<\/p>\n

The 61-year-old has insisted she has no visible grey strands of hair during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The model said she’s been able to avoid silver strands ‘largely due to her current wellbeing’.<\/p>\n

Elle explained she uses a few scoops of\u00a0The Super Elixir from her\u00a0wellness brand WelleCo each day and also takes two\u00a0concentrated hair supplements.<\/p>\n

‘It’s designed for thicker, stronger hair that shines with natural beauty, and they’re effortless. Total game changer,’ she said.<\/p>\n

The claim comes after a recent photo of Elle confirmed she wears hair extensions to add volume to her locks.<\/p>\n

The photo, taken in August, shows the model walking through a European city in a brown shirt and matching skirt while on holiday.<\/p>\n

She had her long blonde locks tied into a messy bun, but as she looked down, one of her hair extension bonds was visible.<\/p>\n

Wigs and hair extensions can help achieve a more youthful appearance as hair thins and loses volume with age.<\/p>\n

Elle has also previously explained how she looks after her hair when she’s away from professional stylists.<\/p>\n

From ditching the hot tools to protecting her locks from harsh sun, Elle shared her top five tips for optimal hair health in her Get The Gloss<\/a> column.<\/p>\n

She said she is a big believer that eating well and having a healthy gut plays a crucial role in keeping hair thick and luscious.<\/p>\n

One of Elle’s biggest tips for healthier hair is a well looked-after scalp.<\/p>\n

She likes to give herself a gentle scalp massage with a natural oil like coconut, almond or jojoba to improve blood circulation and stimulate hair growth.<\/p>\n
