It was all about family for Dylan Efron<\/a> on \u201cDancing With the Stars<\/a>.\u201d The \u201cTraitors\u201d winner, 33, took the ballroom stage on Tuesday, October 14, for Week 5\u2019s \u201cDedication Night,\u201d a moving episode where each contestant paid tribute to someone special in their lives. <\/p>\n

\t\t\tAll the stars aligned in that immaculate #DedicationNight<\/a> Contemporary from Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach. \ud83d\udcab #DWTS<\/a> <\/p>\n

Efron chose to honor his 5-year-old sister, Olivia, performing alongside pro partner Daniella Karagach to \u201cRewrite the Stars,\u201d sung by Zac Efron and Zendaya from The Greatest Showman.<\/p>\n

Reality star Dylan Efron and his pro partner Daniella Karagach delivered one of the most moving performances of the night with a contemporary routine to \u201cRewrite the Stars\u201d by Zac Efron and Zendaya. The dance was dedicated to Dylan\u2019s 5-year-old sister, Olivia, who joined him on stage for the emotional tribute. \u201cI wasn\u2019t expecting to be a big brother\u2026 immediately, I was inseparable from her,\u201d Dylan shared, adding that the song was also a nod to his older brother Zac. \u201cHe\u2019s always taken care of me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Little Olivia melted hearts when she said, \u201cI just like being with Dylan. He\u2019s my best friend\u2026 I just feel like I\u2019m free with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The judges were visibly touched and full of praise. Bruno Tonioli called Dylan \u201cthe next greatest showman\u201d and dubbed Olivia a \u201cprima ballerina,\u201d noting Dylan\u2019s impressive progress. Carrie Ann Inaba said, \u201cI felt that story to the bottom of my soul\u2026 the message of this performance was incredible.\u201d Derek Hough teased, \u201cI hate you. You\u2019re a great guy. You\u2019re in shape. You can dance. And you\u2019re a great brother.\u201d Kym Johnson added, \u201cYou are improving and becoming such a great dancer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their emotional performance earned a well-deserved 36 out of 40, marking the highest score of the season so far.<\/p>\n

A Sweet Family Dedication<\/p>\n

The performance quickly became one of the night\u2019s most talked-about moments. Ahead of the show, Efron shared a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram featuring Olivia and Karagach.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease welcome the newest member of Team DaDy, my lil sister Olivia,\u201d he captioned the post. \u201cShe\u2019s quickly become 2nd best dancer on the team and by far the cutest. Team DaDy-O.\u201d<\/p>\n

The adorable photos, including one of Olivia in tiny ballroom shoes, melted hearts across social media. DWTS host Julianne Hough commented, \u201cIt\u2019s the little ballroom shoes for me \ud83e\udd79\ud83d\ude2d\u2764\ufe0f,\u201d while Karagach added, \u201cI\u2019ll never get over the mini ballroom shoes \ud83e\udd79.\u201d Co-star Danielle Fishel chimed in with, \u201cSTAWP!!! I love her sm.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dylan\u2019s Special Connection to Zac Efron<\/p>\n

Fans had speculated for days that Efron would pay tribute to his famous brother. <\/p>\n

During last week\u2019s Disney Night, host Julianne Hough joked that audiences expected him to dance to a High School Musical song. Efron smiled and teased, \u201cI couldn\u2019t \u2014 yeah, I have something special for next week,\u201d hinting at the heartfelt surprise that was to come.<\/p>\n

Efron\u2019s performance stood out not just for its choreography, but for its heart. In recent weeks, he\u2019s shared glimpses of his close bond with Olivia on social media, posting videos of them fishing, laughing, and dancing together.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy sister taught my first ever dance lesson, so you better be nice,\u201d he joked in one clip. Another post before the show read, \u201cLooking forward to this next dance :).\u201d<\/p>\n

Dancing With the Stars airs live Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. New episodes stream the following day on Hulu.<\/p>\n
