\n\tJacob Elordi<\/a> is teasing the highly anticipated third season of \u201cEuphoria<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was incredible, man,\u201d the actor told me Saturday on the Academy Museum Gala<\/a> red carpet. \u201cIt was incredibly liberating. I got to play something so sort of far out from what I\u2019ve done before.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe said that series creator Sam Levinson \u201cconstructed something that\u2019s incredibly clever and cinematic. I think people are really going to like it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, Elordi insists he doesn\u2019t actually know exactly what happens in Season 3.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEverybody shoots at different storylines,\u201d Elordi said. \u201cI don\u2019t know what anyone else is doing. I had a really singular storyline. You don\u2019t know what the other story lines are. It\u2019s like FBI files. So it\u2019s great because I\u2019ll get to consume the show the same way that everybody else does as a fan, which I haven\u2019t been able to do before. I\u2019m really excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tElordi also wanted to clear up a news story that reported he said that Season 3 was entirely shot in VistaVision. \u201cI did not say that, that is not true,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s shot on a lot of different kinds of film and it\u2019s beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReps at Warner Bros. did not respond to Variety\u2018s request for comment regarding the use of VistaVision. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEuphoria\u201d follows a group of high school students who orbit around Rue (Zendaya), a drug-addicted teenager who must navigate intense social dynamics, family drama and staying clean after rehabilitation. Season 2 aired in 2022. Across its first two seasons, the show received 25 Emmy nominations and won nine awards.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to Elordi, returning cast members include Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Colman Domingo and Kika King.<\/p>\n

\n\tTrisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler and Eli Roth have joined for Season 3<\/a>, as have Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon and Sam Trammell.<\/p>\n

\n\tElordi is currently in the midst of a promotional and awards campaign blitz for Guillermo del Toro\u2019s \u201cFrankenstein.\u201d<\/a> Elordi stars in the Netflix film as the monster alongside Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c[Netflix CEO] Ted Sarandos said to me before I started the film, \u2018You\u2019re so lucky you\u2019re going to get to work with a kind genius and that\u2019s a rare thing,\u2019\u201d Elordi recalled. \u201cA kind genius is a rare thing. He is the kindest of geniuses.\u201d<\/p>\n
