Apple Martin is proving that music runs in the family.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a> and Chris Martin<\/a> hit the stage with Jade Street for a performance during the duo\u2019s concert at Cannery Hall in Nashville Oct. 17.<\/p>\n

During the surprise set, Apple\u2014who is a student at the city\u2019s Vanderbilt University\u2014wore a minimalist wardrobe consisting of a white cropped tank top and black miniskirt as she swayed to the music and played with her blonde hair, as seen in a video posted on TikTok<\/a> Oct. 19.<\/p>\n

And the performance appears to be part of the model\u2019s larger foray into singing. Days before stepping onstage, she and the band teased an upcoming collaboration on the song \u201cSatellites,\u201d teasing the track\u2019s Oct. 28 release in a joint post on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, Apple\u2019s new single won\u2019t be her first musical pursuit. She previously earned a songwriting credit<\/a> with her dad\u2019s band Coldplay for co-writing the song \u201cLet Somebody Go\u201d featuring Selena Gomez, which appeared on the group\u2019s 2021 album Music of the Spheres.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a law, history, and society major, but I wish I would\u2019ve taken\u2014maybe I\u2019ll take a theater course before I leave,\u201d she told Interview magazine<\/a> in April. \u201cIt\u2019s a fun balance between my very different extracurriculars and my major.\u201d<\/p>\n
