The visa allows applicants to include their partner and dependent children and is valid for up to four years.<a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/wealth\/invest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Investment options<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/eligibility-criteria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">eligibility criteria<\/a>The program offers two investment options:NZ $1 million, which provides a three-year work-to-residence pathwayNZ $2 million, which fast-tracks residence after 12 months. To qualify, applicants must invest in a business operating for at least five years, have at least <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/nzd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">NZD<\/a> $500,000 in reserve funds, and demonstrate substantial business experience, such as owning a company with five or more full-time employees or generating NZD $1 million in annual revenue. <\/p>\n<p>Applicants must also be under 55, meet English language requirements, and pass health and character checks. <\/p>\n<p>Certain business types are ineligible, including convenience stores, discount shops, drop-shipping operations, fast food outlets, gambling, tobacco and vaping businesses, adult entertainment, home-based businesses, franchised businesses, and immigration advisory services.<\/p>\n<p>Pathway to residenceAfter operating the business for the required period, investors may qualify for the <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/business-investor-resident-visa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Business Investor Resident Visa<\/a>.
