Hato Hone St John said they have responded with three ambulances, one first response unit, one rapid response unit, and one operations manager.<\/p>\n
They are assessing one patient in a serious condition and one in a moderate condition.<\/p>\n
Reports on social media say the accident involved a bus and a car.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere seems to be moments of incredible flashes like if I could imagine a shed full of fireworks going up?\u201d one wrote on Reddit.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve never heard this many sirens blaring almost undisrupted probably ever it\u2019s looks horrific from my place [sic],\u201d another commented.<\/p>\n
A Herald reporter at the scene said emergency services have blocked off Tamaki Dr at The Strand.<\/p>\n
