Extensive Australian coverage locked in on Kayo Sports for the 2025\/26 summer of New Zealand Motorsport.<\/p>\n

Kayo Sports will broadcast all six rounds of the NextGen NZ Championship this summer.<\/p>\n

Commencing with the Hampton Downs International next week (October 31-November 2), Kayo Sports will carry the more than 70 hours of live coverage planned for a blockbuster summer of New Zealand motorsport.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe summer ahead stands to be one of the biggest on record, and with the amount of Aussie interest, it\u2019s appropriate we\u2019re partnering with Australia\u2019s home of live sport, Kayo Sports, for the first time,\u201d said David Tunnicliffe, Head of Broadcast, NextGen NZ Championship.<\/p>\n

The strong Australian broadcast arrangements complement the recently confirmed partnership with SKY Sport New Zealand, which, coupled with international coverage on YouTube and motorsport.tv, will see more eyeballs reached by New Zealand motorsport\u2019s premier series than ever before.<\/p>\n

The opening round includes the final rounds of two key Australian categories: GT World Challenge Australia and the Monochrome GT4 Australia Championship \u2013 the latter racing on New Zealand shores for the first time.<\/p>\n

The six events include highlights such as the Historic Grand Prix at Taupo \u2013 home of the Supercars Championship round in New Zealand \u2013 and the 70th running of the iconic New Zealand Grand Prix, to be held at Highlands Motorsport Park in Central Otago on 1 February 2026.<\/p>\n

All four rounds of the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy will be covered, while there\u2019s likely to be strong Australian interest in key categories across the broad slate of NextGen NZ categories \u2013 including but not limited to the TA2 New Zealand Championship, GT New Zealand and the Bridgestone GR86 Championship.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a quiet time for Australian circuit racing, we\u2019re confident motorsport fans will enjoy the offering from the NextGen NZ championship this summer. There will be plenty of familiar names on track, plus categories Aussie fans know and love, and there will be something for everyone, too,\u201d Tunnicliffe added.<\/p>\n

Kayo Sports is the home of the Supercars Championship and the FIA Formula One World Championship in Australia.<\/p>\n
