During Wednesday’s show of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” the couple got into a small fight on-air before Ripa introduced the trend to her husband. An “airport divorce” is when a couple splits up when they get to the airport and reunite once they are at their gate, according to People<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Couples are doing something unique and I want to run this by you. I think we could do well with this: an airport divorce. [Because] you and I have different traveling philosophies, different traveling styles,” Ripa said.<\/p>\n Kelly Ripa told her husband, Mark Consuelos, they should get an “airport divorce.” (Jeff Kravitz\/FilmMagic)<\/p>\n Consuelos immediately went on the defense and said, “What do you mean? I\u2019m very nice to people. That\u2019s not cool,” he told his wife.<\/p>\n Ripa replied, “You are very nice to people, but you get irritated with me.”<\/p>\n “No. I don\u2019t get irritated with you,” Consuelos replied. “I\u2019m irritated with you right now for trying to throw me under the bus.”<\/p>\n This did not conclude their on-air argument.<\/p>\n Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa went back and forth on Wednesday’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark.” (Reuters)<\/p>\n Ripa shared with the audience a recent airport fiasco<\/a> when Consuelos’ TSA PreCheck was temporarily unavailable. This is the part where you say, \u2018Thank you honey, I\u2019m sorry that I\u2019m making you wait in this line,'” Ripa said.<\/p>\n Consuelos laughed at Ripa’s recollection of the incident and told his side of the story.<\/p>\n “You go through life, 30 years you know somebody. You were happy and this is not my problem at all?”<\/p>\n Consuelos said that the argument stemmed from which security line to join.<\/p>\n “There was a fork in the road \u2014 go left or go right \u2014 and I said, \u2018Let\u2019s go this way,'” he said, before noting that Ripa went the other direction. “But I didn\u2019t want to make a big deal out of it, so I just let it go.”<\/p>\n The audience groaned before Ripa defended herself.<\/p>\n KEITH URBAN’S AWKWARD INTERVIEWS SEEMINGLY HINTED AT NICOLE KIDMAN MARRIAGE ISSUES<\/a><\/p>\n “My line was straight ahead, where the people sailed through because they still had their TSA privileges.”<\/p>\n Mark Consuelos called out his wife for throwing him “under the bus” on their talk show. I feel like whoever got the car dirty, it\u2019s their responsibility to wash the car. And if I\u2019m a perpetual passenger, that\u2019s not my problem,” Ripa said.<\/p>\n “Okay, so, how about inside the car?” Consuelos said. “Let\u2019s start with, let\u2019s get some Windex and maybe you\u2019ll wipe off the feet prints on the windshield because the first thing you do is you put your bare feet on the dash, and I\u2019m staring at your toe prints when you\u2019re not there. I see toe prints on the windshield.
