Carl Froch thinks Jake Paul could inflict some real damage on Gervonta Davis when they share the ring.
It was recently announced that Paul and Davis will be going head-to-head on November 14 in Las Vegas.

The pair have been linked to fighting in the past, with Paul surprisingly naming Davis as a target opponent back in 2021.
Now that an exhibition bout between them has finally been made official, the boxing fraternity have not held back in voicing their opinions on the ‘freak show’ match-up.
Former super middleweight world champion, Froch, has since joined in to share his stance on the matter.
He said on his YouTube channel: “It’s seven weight divisions, it would not be allowed. This is why it’s an exhibition.
“It would not be licensed in anyone’s real world of boxing. No one would sanction it because it’s dangerous.
“Is there a chance that Jake Paul could clip Gervonta Davis, hurt him and knock him out? Probably not, but if he did land a big right hand swing, shoot from the hip and connect on Davis’s chin, there’s a chance that Davis could be seriously injured by somebody that’s five stone heavier.
“He won’t be used to being hit like that.”
The concern that Froch has voiced is one that could have serious implications for Davis, considering the give-or-take 65lbs difference between the two men.
Paul’s most recent outing saw him compete at the cruiserweight limit of 200lbs, whereas Davis fights at 135lbs.
The 30-year-old has 30 wins on his record, as well as a recent controversial draw against Roach.

Although, Davis passed on the opportunity to defend his WBA lightweight title in a rematch with his rival in order to pursue ‘The Problem Child’.
It is likely the bout will be fought under exhibition rules, with professional sanctioning seen as unlikely.
What is Jake Paul’s experience in professional boxing so far?
Paul turned professional back in 2020 and has lost one of his 13 fights since then.
The one man to hand him a loss was Tommy Fury, who claimed a split decision win when fought in 2023.
Despite his controversial reputation, Paul has been linked with huge potential opponents in his five years on the scene.
The 28-year-old bounced back to winning ways from his only career loss, even going on to beat heavyweight Mike Tyson when they shared the ring in November.

More recently he was believed to be in advanced talks with none other than Anthony Joshua.
Although his bout with Davis seemed to derail that plan, Paul has since spoken out to suggest he still has plans to fight the Briton.
