One former camper has confessed he doesn’t think another stay in the Aussie jungle is in his future, saying he is ‘satisfied’ by his previous taste of itAnt and Dec host I’m a Celebrity(Image: ITV)
Babatunde Aleshe has insisted he would never do I’m A Celebrity again after his stint in camp left him with even worse fears than when he went in.
The comedian and actor, 39, was a camper on the ITV reality show in 2022 and finished seventh, with footballer Jill Scott taking the crown that year.
However, he has now admitted that although it was “a great experience” he would not sign up for a return. Babatunde also confessed that he had left the Aussie jungle even more scared of creepy crawlies than he was before.
“A lot of people do ask me, would you do it again?” the star said on ITV’s Lorraine on Friday (August 29). “No!”

“I’m very satisfied with my time there, you know?” he said. “And I’m more scared of spiders and cockroaches and everything I was scared of before I went in.”
“You’re more scared now?” asked presenter Ranvir Singh, who was filling in for the show’s usual host Lorraine Kelly.
“More scared now,” he confirmed.

Babatunde also brought up his first task on the ITV show, which is fronted by Ant and Dec.
He was supposed to walk the plank off a 32-storey building but struggled with the challenge and spent a while trying to pluck up the courage before deciding against it, while fellow contestants Jill and Charlene White gave it a go.
“You can’t tell me, like, oh, I’m scared of heights and then you give me a height challenge?” he laughed on Lorraine. “And I bailed out. Yeah.”
“It was too much, it was too much,” he added.

Babatunde said he would like to see Loose Women star Judi Love sign up for a stay in camp.
“She would be hilarious,” he explained. “If she does it, I think she would absolutely destroy it.”
Ranvir questioned how Judi would handle the tough conditions in the jungle, and the star replied: “But that’s what’s so good about her personality. She wouldn’t be able to cope with it. So that’s why she would be amazing!”
Lorraine airs at 9am on weekdays on ITV.
