Misfits has built a reputation for influencer boxing, but opening the Darren Till vs Luke Rockhold bill was a young boxer touted to be ‘the next Floyd Mayweather’.
Misfits 22 will see a host of entertaining fights, from Darren Till vs Luke Rockhold to Salt Papi vs Tony Ferguson, all the way to Joey Essex, who sparred Conor Benn, vs Numeiro, and Chase DeMoor, who called out Johnny Fisher, versus Natan Marcon.
Chaos erupted in the Misfits undercard during the weigh-ins, though the opening fight of the card showed that for some fighters this is no joke.
The bill opened with ‘the next Floyd Mayweather‘ scoring a dominant victory against a game opponent.

In the first bout on Misfits 22, 7-0 J’Hon Ingram faced off against 13-8 Banty Singh.
This marked Ingram’s second opponent with a winning record, the only other being a 3-0 fighter Ingram faced in his third fight.
The step-up fight, which was made just a couple weeks ago, was supposed to ask questions of the rising prospect, who has been touted by Floyd Mayweather himself as ‘the next Floyd Mayweather’ back in 2022.
Ingram put pressure on Singh in the first round and looked sure to get the stoppage after tasting blood. Singh survived the round, though, but did not make it out of the second.
A savage body shot left Singh unable to continue, with the commentator exclaiming that Ingram ‘snatched his opponent’s liver and went home with it’ as Singh kneeled on the canvas shaking his head and wincing in pain.
Ingram will surely be onto bigger and better things next time out.
Conor Benn’s coach watched his daughter make her Misfits debut in second bout on the card
Following on from Ingram’s dominant performance, Demi Sims, the daughter of Tony Sims, faced Nadeshi Hopkins, who also made her debut.
Whilst Hopkins came into the ring with a bold ring-walk full of dancing and enthusiasm, it was Sims who gained the upper hand early on, clocking Hopkins with multiple left hooks.
The reality TV star and daughter of a world-class boxing coach was cornered by former world champion Darren Barker, and secured a unanimous decision win over Hopkins.
Tony Sims is the trainer of Conor Benn, and the former trainer of Joe Cordina, Demsey McKean, and Jordan Thompson.
Sims recently partnered with Johnny Fisher and Daniel Dubois, with 2026 looking huge for the Essex-based trainer.
