ChatGPT suggested a list of locations across the town for every colour on a Monopoly board.

We asked the following: “If you were making a Monopoly game board for Ipswich, which locations would you pick for each colour? Pick three locations for each colour except brown and dark blue which needs two locations.”
It came back with: “Let’s pick some standout local landmarks for each property colour set – mixing heritage, culture, parks and iconic spots”.
Here is what is suggested:
Brown
Light Blue
Pink
Ancient House
Willis Building
Custom House
Orange
Red
Christchurch Park
Holywells Park
Chantry Park
Yellow
Green
Dark Blue
Portman Road
Christchurch Mansion
We also asked it to come up with the two charities, alongside Suffolk Mind, to appear on the board as Community Chest squares.
It came up with East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice and St Elizabeth Hospice.
It also offered to come up with 10 Chance and Community Chest cards with Ipswich-specific humour – which of course, we said yes.

Among those that came back was ‘Your car breaks down on Norwich Road – pay £100’, ‘Christchurch Mansion needs roof repairs – pay £50’ and ‘Accident at Copdock Interchange – go directly to Jail – do not pass Go, do not collect £200’.
The question is – will any of what ChatGPT suggested be on the actual Ipswich Monopoly board which is set for release in November this year?
