The pair played cat and mouse through the garden centre, with Jez convincing his family that Sienna was holding him hostage. Later, viewers saw Jez cradling his unconscious daughter in the back of a van. Did he kill the one person he swore to protect?
Tonight’s episode saw Jez struggling with a heavy picnic basket, which he was trying to remove from his car boot. Though the contents were hidden, the basket resembled the one he previously stashed Dilly Harcourt’s body in.

As he continued to struggle, Jez was approached by John Paul McQueen who offered his condolences about Sienna’s disappearance. John Paul apologised for trashing the allotment and insisted on helping the gardener carry the load.
Together, the former fiancés dragged the basket through the village, which was swarming with police and people looking for missing Morgan Osborne.
When they reached the Love Boat, the pair were greeted by Liberty Savage, who was unimpressed to see them together. John Paul assured her he was just doing Jez a “favour” and tried to build bridges with his friend.

“Lib, I know what it’s like to lose a sister. I’m sorry,” he said. “Do you think we can just end whatever this is between us, please? I don’t think either of us need anymore grief in our lives right now.”
Liberty soon turned her attention to the picnic basket, asking why it was so heavy. Jez said it was a surprise to lift spirits amid their family troubles, and asked for some space.
Later, Jez found his fiancée sobbing over Sienna, who she believes could be dead. While comforting Liberty, Jez surprisingly broke down in tears as well.
However, viewers then saw a shot of the deserted Love Boat, with the basket still inside. In a shocking twist, Sienna lifted up the lid and emerged alive – though clearly injured. Will Jez finally get his comeuppance?
