An Oasis fan lucky enough to see the band in action on their reunion tour in both the UK and USA said there was one key difference between the shows.
Kirsty McCormack, deputy entertainment editor for The Mirror US, was fortunate enough to get tickets to see the Manchester rock legends at London’s Wembley Stadium and at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Having scrambled online alongside the many fans desperate for tickets, Kirsty and her friend had managed to get tickets to the band’s London show on August 3. “I genuinely felt privileged to have an Oasis ticket,” she said, “and to be seeing them at Wembley Stadium was even more special as it’s not far from where I was born and grew up.”

Speaking about seeing Liam and Noel Gallagher on stage, Kirsty told The Mirror: “Seeing Oasis live on Sunday, August 3, was worth every single penny I spent. You can’t put a price on those kind of memories.

“For me, there’s nothing better than being surrounded by hundreds — or thousands — of strangers who love a band as much as you do. Me and my friends had standing tickets, and although it’s nice to have a seat at a gig sometimes, I was SO glad to be in the thick of it — even if it did feel like a workout at times!
“The vibes were indescribable. Everyone was in the best mood, the energy was infectious — it’s hard to put into words, and I simply don’t think you can fully understand it unless you were there. FYI, the ‘Oasis blues’ are real!”
Being based in New York, Kirsty said she began to ‘feel envious’ of friends who had tickets for the New Jersey dates at the end of August. Having been able to grab two tickets to the August 31 show, she was ‘apprehensive’ that those at the American show might not be able to match up to the UK crowd.
“I’ll be honest, I was apprehensive about what the US crowd would be like compared to the UK lot,” she wrote. “Last week, I visited the pop-up store in Manhattan, and met a great mix of British and American fans who were buzzing for the NJ shows.

“There’s always been this idea that Oasis never quite “cracked” the US, or that America never fully understood the band and what they were about. And, to be completely honest, I picked up on those vibes at the New Jersey show.
“Yes, of course everyone went crazy as Liam and Noel walked onstage to their 2000 track ‘F–kin’ in the Bushes’, and there were plenty of singalong moments throughout the night, but the atmosphere just wasn’t the same. Even one of my friends replied to my Instagram Story the morning after and commented, “The crowd is tame!”
“No shade to the Americans, but they seemed really quite reserved. Thinking back, I actually feel sorry for the people me and my mate were standing next to! If there’s one band you can really let loose to, it’s Oasis!”

She said that whilst the crowd was ‘really lacking that feistiness’, she said she still had ‘an amazing time’, even if it was ‘not the same as Wembley’.
Having played two shows at New Jersey, the next stop on the Oasis Live ’25 tour will be Pasadena. The band, who will be supported by Cage the Elephant and Cast, will play the Rose Bowl on September 6 and 7. They will then play two nights in Mexico on September 12 and 13, before heading back to London for two more shows in Wembley
The tour is currently set to finish up in São Paulo on November 22 and 23, but there are already rumours that 2026 tour dates could be on the horizon as fans speculate about the potential of gigs lined up for the anniversary of their 1996 Knebworth and Maine Road shows.
