Tony “Bomber” Brown – the man who has played more games at The Hawthorns than any other – will present the match ball to the EFL plinth moments before the teams come out.

And, just like at the opening of The Hawthorns in 1900, a brass band will provide pre-match entertainment; outside reception from 12.30pm, in the Fan Zone from 1.30pm and on the pitch from 2.40pm – culminating in the teams entering the field of play to the sound of ‘The Stars and Stripes Forever’ shortly before kick-off.

All supporters will receive a flag commemorating the occasion, which they will be encouraged to wave as the players walk out on to the pitch – creating a memorable moment for all in attendance.

In the fanzone there will be Victorian-themed activities with jugglers, facepainters and a bubbleologist keeping the hoards entertained, with a coconutshy also available for some free family fun.

Tickets for the anniversary fixture remain available, priced from £32 adults, £27 seniors (65+), £20 20-25s, £15 under-20s, £10 under-17s and £7 under-14s.

Adult disabled supporter tickets are available from £22.
