The unbeaten Venetian Sun will bid to finish off her phenomenal juvenile campaign with another Group 1 success in the Moyglare Stud Stakes on Sunday week as Karl Burke’s star filly gears up for a tantalising clash with Composing in a race that will crown the leading contender for next year’s 1,000 Guineas.

After scoring on debut at Carlisle in May, the Starman filly put in a dominant display in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot before landing the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket the following month. 

She was then set a stiff test when taking on the colts in her first Group 1 in the Prix Morny at Deauville on August 24, but passed it with flying colours when denying the Coventry winner Gstaad by a short head.
