Chipolo has a suite of new item trackers that work with both Apple and Google’s lost things networks, but the star of the show is the new card shaped wallet tracker.

This device has a wireless charger and magnetic ring built into it, so whenever its sex-month battery runs out, you can simply pop it on a Qi2/MagSafe charger and it will power up. If you’re super techy, you might have noticed that this card doesn’t explicitly have Qi2 or MagSafe branding since both of those brand names have charging speed specifications associated with them.

However, to get faster speeds, modern phones need to use large wireless charging coils. Since this wouldn’t fit in the card, the company decided to use an older Qi charging coil and surround it with a magnetic ring that will work with MagSafe/Qi2 accessories, according to an interview on Android Central.

The other new tracker is called the Chipolo Loop. It’s a simple keychain that comes in some nice colours and can also be recharged, although this one just uses USB-C.

Both of these can also make your phone ring if you’ve lost your handset and only have your keychain or wallet.

The card costs US$39 (C$53) and the Loop is the same price.
