The Honor Magic V5, which launched in European markets on August 28, recorded stronger early sales compared to its predecessor, the Magic V3.

In a press release, the company noted that the first-week sales for the Magic V5 were 75% higher than those of the Magic V3. Honor added that its latest foldable phone performed well both online and at offline retailers in Europe.

Honor’s new foldable is claimed to be the thinnest in the world, while also packing a large 5,810 mAh battery. The handset comes with an IP58 and IP59 rating for dust and water resistance as well.

Recently, the Magic V5 earned a Guinness World Record for lifting the heaviest weight by a suspended foldable. Honor also showcased the durability of the handset by freezing, baking, and shooting at it.
