The summer 2025 instalment of the Dezeen Showroom New Releases newsletter includes a chair made from stainless steel that references poodles. Subscribe to Dezeen Showroom New Releases now!
Polish designer Mati Sipiora looked to balloon animal poodles as well as the iconic poodle haircut to inform this metal chair, which sees a spindly frame threaded with inflated segments to achieve a unique silhouette.
The chair is among five pieces included in the most recent quarterly newsletter, in which Dezeen’s Showroom editor rounds up a handful of designs, furnishings and fittings from the previous season that have caught their eye.
Six new colourways have been added to Bocci’s 22 System socket range
Other designs featured in this edition of the newsletter include playfully circular outlets that make a feature of wall sockets (pictured above), a range of colourful chairs made using former industrial factory machinery, kitchen cabinet fronts that can be used in conjunction with mainstream kitchens, and sculptural metal tables with thick, rounded legs.
