“One of key pillars of the report’s recommendations relates to working with industry to accelerate the public sector’s transition to cloud and bring forward not only those savings but also the operational efficiencies, security and flexibility benefits – and of course help better meet citizens’ expectations for modern, digital-first services.”
Examples of CSPs already operating within the industry, the report highlighted, include Data#3, Insight and Blue Crystal Solutions under the partner channels category, while CDC Data Centres was in within local tech infrastructure.
Additionally, CyberCX was mentioned as a professional services provider.
By tapping into cloud, the Australian government can then pave the way for adopting AI at scale, according to a blog post by Puthucode.
“It is the key to unlocking data assets and securing systems to capitalise on the unprecedented opportunity AI presents,” he wrote.
