Isack Hadjar is set to be investigated following the conclusion of third practice ahead of this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix, following an incident at the Turn 4/5 chicane at Monza.

The Racing Bulls driver attempted to enter the chicane but ran off the circuit and failed to take to the correct escape road.

Instead, the French-Algerian simply cut across Turn 5 and rejoined directly after the corner, rather than further down the track where the escape road rejoins the track.

As a result, the Zandvoort podium finisher will be investigated for ignoring the race director’s instructions for failing to take to the escape road.

Hadjar was shown a black and white flag for an identical incident on Friday. At the time of the incident, Hadjar found himself in eighth on the timesheets.
