Former WWE champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson debuted a slimmer physique at the Venice Film Festival while promoting his new film The Smashing Machine where he plays UFC champion Mark Kerr. Rock appeared at the Miu Miu Women’s Tales event in a light blue collared shirt and black dress pants, showcasing his leaner look.
At the Toronto Film Festival, Rock revealed that his physique transformation is for the role of a “whimsical, eccentric 70-something year-old” named Chicken Man in Lizard Music. Rock reflected on the conversation he had with director Benny Safdie…
“Benny pitched me this after, and after about 45 minutes, this pitch ended and I said, ‘I am your Chicken Man.’ I still have a long ways to go.
