Nothing out of the Ordinary here. Alex Warren‘s year has been astronomical, breaking Elvis‘ record to claim the longest-running Number 1 by a US male solo artist in 70 years and claiming top spot with his debut album You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1)

Song of the Year: APT. ROSÉ ft Bruno Mars

A historical moment as ROSÉ became the first ever K-pop artist to take home this accolade, signalling the genres continued rise in mainstream music popularity. 

Best Collaboration: Die With A Smile – Lady Gaga ft. Bruno Mars

The second major award for Gaga last night, this beautiful merging of voices created a track which will go down as one of the greatest to ever be created. 

Album of the Year: Short n’ Sweet – Sabrina Carpenter 

Breaking multiple records and cementing Sabrina as one of the biggest artists in the world, this album spent five consecutive weeks at Number in the UK. She also took home Pop Artist of the Year.

KPop Demon Hunters’ HUNTR/X appear on the red carpet

One of the highlights saw the singers behind the hit song Golden show their faces at the event, also giving an exclusive interview to Entertainment Tonight, where they chatted about their newfound success and how they have been dealing with fame; a huge moment in the group’s history as they eye more success. 

A tribute to Ozzy Osbourne 

YUNGBLUD, alongside Nuno Bettencourt and Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, delivered an outstanding tribute to the late great Ozzy Osbourne last night. A rock-filled symphony, it even made Ariana Grande stand up and stare in awe. YUNGBLUD was also rocking a gold cross necklace that Ozzy had given to him just before he died. A stellar tribute to one of rocks greatest heroes. 

Sabrina Carpenter with a strong trans rights-themed message 

During the performance of her track Tears from new album Man’s Best Friend the background performers, including police offers and drag performers, held signs that read “Protect trans rights”, a positive message from the forward-thinking musician.
