To nobody’s surprise, Brendan Rodgers’ second spell in charge of Celtic has been entertaining.

It’s a case of déjà vu for Rodgers, because the off-field issues he is facing at Celtic right now were on show when he first set foot into Glasgow.

But it seems as though the second time around, things seem far worse, especially with the Celtic fans issuing a ’no confidence’ vote on the board.

This comes after a dreadful 2025 summer transfer window and Celtic’s statement from the weekend.

But Andy Walker had a challenge for the man in the Celtic Park dugout, regarding the off-field issues.

There have been periods where Rodgers has expressed his disappointment at how business has been conducted.

But, as the negative noise has grown louder and louder, from the media and fans, he has seemingly tried to put a damp cloth over the fire by publicly stating everyone inside is together and there are people who ‘bleed for the club.’

Speaking on Go Radio, former Hoops striker Walker stated, if there is ‘truth’ in that, then Rodgers should put his money where his mouth is and face the fans.

“If what Brendan Rodgers said is true and they bleed for the club,” said Walker. “Then go and meet some of the supporters. Go and meet some of the fan groups.

“Tell them what happened. Tell them how difficult it was. Tell them how every deal fell through. Tell them what happened and try to explain yourself. Give the supporters a bit of respect.”

Is this Rodgers’ final season at Celtic?

Amid all this noise, what shouldn’t be forgotten about is the fact that Rodgers’ contract expires at the end of the season.

Of course, the Celtic supporters want the Treble-winning hero to stay beyond this term, but given what is happening off the pitch, it probably points towards him leaving.

If it happens, then he leaves a legend of the highest order, and hopefully, he can add to his trophy haul before he goes.
