Spanish broadcaster RTVE will reveal the song that Gonzalo Pinillos will perform at Junior Eurovision 2025 next month.
During a meeting between RTVE and journalists held this Tuesday, the Spanish broadcaster, represented by César Vallejo, head of delegation of Spain in Junior Eurovision, and the director of TVE Sergio Calderón, revealed some details about its song for the next edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The song that Gonzalo Pinillos will fly the Spanish flag with in Tbilisi on December 13 will be revealed next month, on October 6.
No more details had been given regarding how the song will be revealed. In recent years, the reveal has taken place during a press conference with the presence of the Spanish delegation and the artist before being published on the broadcaster’s website.
Selected unanimously by the selection committee from 270 candidates, the song Gonzalo Pinillos will perform in December was also chosen internally by RTVE.
Chloe DelaRosa represented Spain last year in Madrid with the song “Como la Lola”, ending up 5th in the online voting, 6th in the jury voting and 6th overall.

Spain first took part in the contest in 2003 and participated every year between then and 2006. In 2004, María Isabel brought Spain their only victory so far with “Antes muerta que sencilla”. After an absence of 13 years, Spain returned to the contest in 2019 with “Marte” by Melani García. Spain had always finished in the top 5 until the 2021 contest, when Levi Díaz finished in 15th place. The 2024 contest was hosted in Madrid, the first Eurovision contest to take place in Spain since Eurovision 1969.
