ELK GROVE, Calif. — Many people in multiple Northern California cities are starting to see their Xfinity service return after experiencing outages in their internet and TV caused by “network damage.”

Adriana Arvizo, spokesperson for Comcast, said crews are still trying to finish restoring service after a vehicle hit and damaged a utility pole Tuesday morning.

Outages impacted customers in Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova, Lodi, Los Banos, and more.

“While most customers have had their services restored, a small number, primarily in Rancho Cordova, can expect service to return later this afternoon,” Arvizo said.

Xfinity’s website shows some customers have been without power as early as 9 a.m. Wednesday.
