The Long Walk cast members Charlie Plummer and Garrett Wareing have shared a gallery of behind-the-scenes photos they shot during the production.

Based on the first novel Stephen King ever wrote, the film marches into theaters tomorrow, September 12, from Lionsgate.

In a dystopian United States ruled by a totalitarian regime, 50 young men enter an annual walking contest in which they must maintain a speed of at least three miles per hour or risk execution. The contest ends when only one walker remains alive.

Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Constantine) directs from a script by JT Mollner (Strange Darling).

In addition to Plummer and Wareing, the cast includes Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Tut Nyout, Ben Wang, Roman Griffin Davis, Jordan Gonzalez, Joshua Odjick, Josh Hamilton, Judy Greer, and Mark Hamill.

Lawrence produces with Roy Lee (IT, Doctor Sleep), Steven Schneider (Insidious, Paranormal Activity), and Cameron MacConomy (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes).

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review, “Despite an unwavering eye on the dour and ruthless death march and all its grotesqueries, it’s the pervading camaraderie and heart, as well as a tremendous cast, that solidifies this as one of the best King adaptations yet.”
