Last night, Thursday, the Warringtonian appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles.
The 15-year-old is currently working in America ahead of the 77th Emmy Awards, at which he will be among the nominees.
While appearing on the talk show, Owen discussed the smash hit Netflix series, Adolescence, in which he made his professional acting debut as Jamie Miller.
“I have to tell you, I’ve rarely seen anything as impressive as your performance in this show,” said host, Jimmy Kimmel.
“I’m sure you hear it all the time.”

The pair discussed the Orford teenager’s breakout performance in the series, which has seen him receive critical acclaim and even win an NTA award on Wednesday.
“It’s serious acting that you have to do and boy did you,” said Jimmy Kimmel.
“You did an absolutely great job and now you’re an Emmy nominee.”
On Sunday, Owen will attend the prestigious awards ceremony with his castmates where he is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
If the 15-year-old wins, he will become the youngest male winner the in history of the Emmy Awards.
Currently, Scott Jacoby is the youngest male winner, after he won Best Supporting Actor for That Certain Summer in 1973 – aged just 16.
Looking ahead to the ceremony, Owen admitted he hasn’t written an acceptance speech yet and is hoping to be seated near his idol, Jake Gyllenhaal.

“He’s my number one,” Owen said.
“Hopefully I’m sat next to him, if I am sat next to him, he’s not going to have a good night.
“I’m just going to be talking to him the whole night.”
Despite the fact that the teenager might make history, he has a strict schedule to follow and will be back in school on Wednesday.
After his appearance on the talk show, Owen gifted a Warrington Rylands FC shirt to Jimmy Kimmel, a nod to where the teenager plays football.
He shared a picture of the pair with the shirt on his Instagram story to his 586,000 followers.
“Jimmy Kimmel to Warrington Rylands, here we go,” the post said.
The former Warrington Rylands under-15’s player is set to make his film debut in Wuthering Heights, which will be released in February 2026, as young Heathcliff.
