When three cheetahs singled out a baby warthog recently in South Africa, they probably did not expect much resistance.

But the accompanying footage shows that even baby warthogs can possess the spirit of a lion.

The footage, captured by Richard Melvin in Kruger National Park, shows the warthog chasing the frightened cheetah brothers, one after another, as astonished tourists provide commentary.

“Look at those little girls,” a woman jokes.

“I don’t believe it!” a man chimes in.

Reads the Latest Kruger description: “Typically, baby warthogs end up as prey for bigger cats. But, this little warthog had other plans.

“When it found itself surrounded by three cheetah brothers, it absolutely humiliated the cats by chasing THEM around! And they ran fast!”

Cheetahs are the planet’s fastest land animals and can attain speeds of 70 mph. Baby warthogs are often preyed upon by cheetahs.
