A restaurant has been left in hysterics folllowing a customer’s unusual request. Pixi’s Carribean Flavas shared the note on the delivery receipt to social media, demonstrating the true meaning of ‘guilty pleasure’, reports the Liverpool Echo.
After the customer had been ‘banned’ by his wide from going to the takeaway, Pixis decided to help out a customer who simply couldn’t stay away.
The Warrington restaurant has been serving their signature Jamaican dishes since 2018, with curried goat and oxtail as well as creative ‘twists’ on classic burgers and wraps all on the menu. The popular takeaway expanded when it opened its second site in 2022.
The family-run takeaway is run by chef Pixi Bynloss, who was born in Westmoreland Parish in Jamaica. When the family began cooking from their home they realised there was ‘nothing’ in the area offering what they could, Pixi’s son Junior said.

The cheeky request was shared to social media, but Pixi’s made sure the secret stayed between them by keeping the customer’s anonymity safe. T
The delivery notes ask Pixi’s to keep the order a secret and meet the customer on the side of a street to deliver the food. Pixi’s went into stealth mode.
The note read: “PLEASE READ… My Mrs has got me on a diet and banned me from using Widnes Eats but I love your food. Please meet me on the corner of Kilsby Drive I’ll be walking my dog.”

After posting the receipt on social media, the takeaway asked customers, “Who was this?” with a string of laughing emojis. The restaurant told the ECHO: “We treated it like a secret mission – handed over the food, congratulated the dog for helping with the cover-up, and asked no further questions.
“We don’t judge our customers’ cravings; we just support their Pixis addiction. We’re truly grateful for the love and determination our customers show to get their Pixis fix.” You can try Pixi’s food for yourself here.
In the kitchen Pixi is joined by her two sons, Junior and Matteo, to bring a taste of Caribbean to the North West.

Areas across the region were requesting to claim Pixis takeaway spot – from Wigan, Leigh, Southport and many other hometowns across the region. Junior said: “It showed that the community wanted us to open another one and I didn’t realise so many people travelled that way.
“We get a lot of people that come from Widnes and Runcorn. People are travelling within a 20 to 30 mile radius, from Liverpool, Widnes, Runcorn, Wigan, Newton-le-WIllows, St Helens.” The Widnes site eventually opened in 2022.
