From one exciting debutant to another in three days. That’s the formula for Scone trainer Lyle Chandler ahead of Monday’s meeting at Muswellbrook, where another stable charge has her first start.
Promising filly Chamber Of Secrets was locked in an early three-way battle for favouritism in a Maiden Handicap over 1280m.

A powerfully-built three-year-old daughter of group 1 Blue Diamond winner Written By, Chamber Of Secrets launches her career behind two winning trials at home, the latest cruising home over 900m despite over-racing for much of the journey.
She drew a middle gate for her debut and will sport a barrier blanket for the first time, with Jenny Duggan in the saddle.
The path to the racetrack is very similar to that of four-year-old stablemate mare Andale Andale, who scored an impressive debut win in a Maiden Plate over 1200m at last Friday’s Tuncurry Cup meeting.

Settling back off the speed, Andale Andale cut loose with a sweeping finish to win with plenty in hand.
And just like Chamber Of Secrets, she started behind two comfortable winning trials at home. On a Muswellbrook track likely to improve to Soft 5, that recipe for the Chandler yard can ignite another big return for Scone stables.
In the opening Maiden Plate over 1000m, the Scott Singleton camp saddles up emerging four-year-old Sir Herridah only 13 days after being beaten by a neck on debut.
