Tracy Barlow’s scheming may be put to an end after a threat is made against her father in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.
Tracy has been giving Abi Franklin and Carl Webster hell since discovering their affair, attempting to blackmail the duo.

In scenes airing next Monday (22 September), Tracy backs off Abi and Carl, the latter of whom tells Abi he fed her a sob story to end her blackmail.
Abi thanks Tracy for leaving them alone, which is when Tracy confesses what actually happened, leaving Abi stunned. Could Carl have had something to do with the attack?
“Carl is becoming more villainous with every week that passes,” our Corrie source reveals.
“Abi is taken aback when she finds out just how far he went to secure Tracy’s silence. When even Tracy is scared, you know things are bad!
“Tracy’s revelations won’t be enough to put off Abi from pursuing Carl for now, but his misdeeds seem to be piling up. Will there eventually be a tipping point for Abi? Or can Carl talk his way out of trouble?”

Prior to the incident, Abi suggested that the pair give in and admit their relationship to Kevin, but Carl tried to find a way around it.
He suggested that they call Tracy’s bluff, but didn’t go as far as to openly plan any violence against her and her family.
