Sept. 17 (UPI) — The owner of a farm in England enlisted the help of a drone charity to help search for a wallaby that escaped from his property during a storm.

George Mount of Roots at Thorpe Farm in Barkby Thorpe said one of his wallabies, named Mr. Willoughby Wallaby, escaped from the facility when a storm felled a tree next to a perimeter fence on Monday.

“It must have spooked Mr. Willoughby Wallaby and I think he must have leapt the fence and the last sighting was of him disappearing through the hedge,” Mount told the BBC.

Mount enlisted the help of a team from the Drone to Home charity to help search the area from the air.

“Drone to Home have been super duper, they’ve covered a good three mile area of the village and surrounding fields. They said they’re not giving up until they find him,” he said.

Mount said in a search update Tuesday night that a sighting had been reported in the area and the drone team would be out to look for Willoughby again on Wednesday.
