Written by Simon Jones and Tommy Hibbits and produced by Miah, this ‘message of unity, love and understanding’ benefits national LGBTQIA+ support line Switchboard, to which all proceeds are donated.

They mean business! The original cast recording of The Devil Wears Prada: A New Musical is released on CD, LP and digital platforms this week. Currently playing at London’s Dominion Theatre, the musical features songs composed by Elton John, with lyrics from Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick. The soundtrack even includes two unheard original Elton demos.
On the project, Elton John says: “The subject matter of The Devil Wears Prada absolutely screams out for music. It’s been one of my favourite films of the last 20 years, so when the conversation came up about me writing the music for the stage version, it was an absolute no-brainer.
“It has been wonderful to see the response and success of the stage show, and hearing the fantastic reactions to the songs.”
Maryland multihyphenate Brent Faiyaz is back with third full-length release Icon, as rock royalty Nine Inch Nails provide the soundtrack to new sci-fi blockbuster Tron: Ares.
Elsewhere, Aussie psych-rock outfit Ocean Alley offer up fifth LP Love Balloon ahead of their biggest-ever headline show at London’s Alexandra Palace on September 27. The gig’s billed ‘Ocean Alley Pally,’ by the way. Genius.
