Engines will roar and the city’s skyline will glitter as Singapore gears up to host the 2025 Formula 1 Grand Prix, turning the Marina Bay Street Circuit into the ultimate stage for speed, spectacle, and strategy. Known for its dazzling night race that fuses sport with showmanship, the Singapore Grand Prix has become one of the crown jewels of the F1 calendar.
With such a spectacular stage, one cannot forget the performances by global acts that entertain and enrapture viewers. So who is performing at this year’s F1 Singapore Grand Prix?
The first big acts that were announced earlier this year were Elton John and K-pop icon G-Dragon. Subsequently, it was revealed that iconic rock bands Foo Fighters and Smashing Pumpkins, as well as K-pop superstar CL, will be gracing the stage at the three-day extravaganza.
In July, the final list of performers were released, and included Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, Grammy-winning electronic music group Clean Bandit, and Spice Girl Melanie C.
Other artistes announced in the line-up include DJ Pete Tong, singer-songwriter Maisie Peters, American singer Haley Reinhart, indie duo The Naked and Famous, Japanese kawaii metal trio Babymetal, Norwegian DJ-producer Alan Walker, and Aussie-Kiwi rock veterans Crowded House.

F1 Singapore Grand Prix
The Singapore Grand Prix made history in 2008 as the first Formula 1 race to be held at night, transforming the Marina Bay area into an exhilarating showcase of speed and spectacle. The race quickly earned a reputation as one of the most challenging on the calendar – with its tight corners and humid conditions – set against a stunning night-sky city backdrop. Beyond the track, the Singapore GP has become a marquee event that fuses motorsport with entertainment, drawing in international superstars, and massive tourist crowds.

What is the F1 Grand Prix?
F1 is a team sport where drivers compete for the esteemed F1 Drivers’ Championship, while the teams fight for the F1 Teams’ Championship and prize money based on their position at the end of the season.
A total of 10 teams and 20 drivers from around the world make up the current Formula 1 grid, with each squad fielding two cars.
Each race is known as a Grand Prix, and they’re held around the world. The 2025 F1 calendar – a year that marks the 75th anniversary of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship – features 24 Grand Prix weekends, which include six F1 Sprint races, taking place from March through December.
The 2025 F1 calendar started with the pre-season testing in Bahrain from 26 to 28 Feb, before the debut race in Australia from 14 to 16 March. The season will conclude in Abu Dhabi with three-day race from 5 to 7 Dec.
Driver experience ranges from multiple World Champions like Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso, to rookie racers in their first full-time F1 seasons such as Kimi Antonelli, Oliver Bearman and Gabriel Bortoleto.
