Spider-Man star Tom Holland has been rushed to hospital after a stunt on the set of his latest superhero blockbuster went wrong.
A stunt double was also said to have been left hospitalised in the incident.
The British film star, 29, is believed to have “cracked his head open” and was treated for concussion after a suspected fall.
Leavesden Studios in Watford, Hertfordshire suspended the filming of the upcoming £150million Spider-Man: Brand New Day – and it may now be pushed back for weeks.

His father, Dominic Holland, confirmed during a charity dinner in London that his son could be sidelined “for a while”.
Mr Holland was in attendance at the Mayfair dinner and was pictured next to American actress and his bride-to-be, Zendaya Coleman.
The British actor left the charity event earlier after feeling unwell, according to The Sun.
The upcoming Spider-Man blockbuster is set to hit the big screens in July 2026 and it is currently not yet known whether the injury will impact the release date.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10.30am on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford.
“An ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care.”
Mr Holland became the youngest ever Spider-Man in 2016, playing the renowned Peter Parker role in Captain America: Civil War.
He has starred in six more Marvel Studios films, including Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The British actor has a starring role in the upcoming action epic The Odyssey, set to be released in July 2026.
It was directed and written by veteran British filmmaker Sir Christopher Nolan, three years on from Oscar-winning biopic Oppenheimer.
Mr Holland announced his relationship with Zendaya in 2021, five years on from the pair being cast together in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
In January, Zendaya teased a possible engagement at the Golden Globes after being seen wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger.
Fewer than 24 hours after the tease, TMZ revealed that Mr Holland proposed to the American actress shortly after Christmas.
In 2017, Mr Holland picked up his first major award after winning the Bafta Rising Star Award.
The British star soon followed the success with accolades at the MTV Awards, People’s Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards.
He is believed to be officially tying the knot with Zendaya in 2026.
